Hand-cut vinyl to applied to an original 1980’s Jaguar XJ-S door. This piece captures the type of reflection that would likely flow over the curves of the bodywork when headed into L.A. during a gorgeous Summer sunset.
It is created by hand-cutting many 100’s of coloured vinyl shapes and applying them in the form of a collage to the surface of the door, window and mirror. The final stage is a professional clear-coat lacquer for a deep shine and protection. This one-of-a-kind artwork can be displayed on the wall, or stood as a sculpture against a support. No other automotive artist works in hand-cut vinyl, so not only is this an extremely rare piece of art, but the use of vinyl ensures it’s the exact same finish to that of a real car.
